摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating torque estimating system for a molten metal container for producing sufficient estimating accuracy while reducing a calculating load. SOLUTION: The system uses a first computing means 100 for numerically determining a space in a container from input data for a surface position in the container and outputting it, and a second computing means 200 for calculating the shape, volume, surface position, and gravity center position of liquid when entering into the space from input space shape data and attribute data for the liquid entering into the space and outputting them. From the masses and gravity center positions of a container lined refractory 22 and a melt (molten metal 12 and slag 13) calculated by using them and the masses and gravity center positions of hardware 21 and scull 31 calculated separately therefrom, rotating torque is calculated in total for every tilting angle. The system can use a third computing means 300 having a corresponding table for the input and output of the second computing means, instead of using the first and second computing means, and furthermore the system can estimate the height of the molten metal from the output of the second computing means.
