PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a bridge pier, remarkably reducing the term of works in works for highway grade separation at grade-intersection point. SOLUTION: This structure of a bridge pier includes: a foundation part 11b constructed by two or more steel pipe sheet piles 16, 17 driven into the ground to constitute a support pile; a bridge pier body 9b constructed by two or more steel pipe columns 20 directly joined to the steel pipe sheet piles 16 of the foundation part 11b to be erected; and a main girder unit 23b placed on the upper part of the bridge pier body 9b. Thus, the steel pipe columns 20 are directly connected to the steel pipe sheet piles 16 as a support pile to be erected, thereby obtaining a bridge pier structure of simple constitution not requiring footing. The bridge pier body 9b is constructed concurrently with the work for constructing a bridge surface lining 10 formed on the main girder unit 23d, whereby the term of works can be remarkably reduced as compared with the case of sequentially performing the construction work of the bridge pier body 9b and the construction work of the bridge surface lining 10.
