PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve storage stability and ensure practical stability in a water-based coating containing an acrylic silicone resin and a urethane resin and to enhance the compatibility of the acrylic silicone resin with the urethane resin and improve coating film properties. SOLUTION: (A) A synthetic resin emulsion obtained by adding a silane compound to a resin containing at least one or more kinds of functional groups selected from a reactive silyl group, a hydroxy group and a carboxy group and having 0.1-50 wt.% ratio of residual amount of silica is mixed with (B) an aqueous polyurethane resin having the reactive silyl group within the range to provide (99:1) to (1:99) solid weight ratio.
