PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive mobile lifting magnet working machine capable of sufficiently enhancing the safety at low cost. SOLUTION: In the mobile lifting magnet working machine, a lifting magnet with a hydraulic motor driven generator as a power source is fitted to a tip of an arm. A control means to control energization from the generator to the lifting magnet is provided. The control means detects a trouble based on signals from various kinds of detection means when energizing the lifting magnet, and determines whether the trouble is a slight one in continuing energization to the lifting magnet or too serious one to continue (S12). When the trouble is serious, energization to the lifting magnet is immediately stopped so as to disable re-attraction (S15). When the trouble is slight, energization to the lifting magnet is continued before a worker performs the releasing operation (S18), and energization is then stopped to disable re-attraction.
