PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a minicapsule ultrasonic endoscope which achieves the effective utilization of the space in a capsule part or the shortening of the capsule part by efficiently arranging the components to be placed in the capsule part. SOLUTION: The capsule ultrasonic endoscope 1 has the capsule part 10 and houses an ultrasonic oscillator 11, an oscillator holding member 12, a partition member 13, a brush part 14, an encoder 15, an ultrasonic motor 16 and the like therein. The end part of an oscillator shaft 12a rotatably pivoted on a ball bearing 24 is positioned within the encoder 15. The ultrasonic motor 16 is constituted of a rotor part 16a and a stator part 16b split to be formed in a ring. A rotation force transmission member 26 integrally secured on the oscillator shaft 12a is fixed on one end face side of the rotor part 16a.
