PURPOSE: A heat pipe type cooling apparatus and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to effectively condensate a work fluid by forming a heater for increasing a heat transfer area integrally with the outer surface of a heat pipe. CONSTITUTION: A heat pipe type cooling apparatus comprises a heat pipe(100) sealed to have a hollow inside filled with a work fluid, wherein the heat pipe has a heat radiation unit(150) arranged on the outer surface of the heat pipe; a sink pad(200) arranged in the portion of the heat pipe excluding the heat radiation unit, wherein the sink pad has a heater fixed at one surface of the sink pad such that the heat generated from the heater is transferred to the heat pipe side; and a cooling fan(300) arranged at the other surface of the sink pad such that the cooling fan cools the work fluid passing through the section of the heat radiation unit. |
