<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control unit capable of ensuring good assembling workability for an external connection terminal. <P>SOLUTION: An inverter case 50 constituting an inverter unit 21 and a converter case 51 constituting a DC-DC converter 22 are constituted of flat cases and the converter case 51 is mounted on the front side face of the inverter case 50. Upper surfaces of the inverter case 50 and the converter case 50 are set as terminal surfaces and AC terminals 56a-56c and DC terminals 57a and 57b are arranged on the terminal surface of the inverter case 50 whereas a DC terminal 83 is arranged on the terminal surface of the converter case 51.
