<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multichannel inverter which can suppress the occurrence of jamming, when lighting up two or more discharge tubes at the same time, without causing flickers, and moreover can be lightened by making its entire form small. <P>SOLUTION: This multi-channel inverter device performs oscillation by driving the transistor of a resonance circuit with a drive signal which is generated with such timing, with the voltage of one inverter 19 becoming substantially 0, and this performs the drive of the transistors of a resonance circuit for other inverters after a specified delay time since the drive signal, whereby two or more discharge tubes 14, 24 and n4 on the secondary side of the step-up transformers contained in the resonance circuits for the inverter 19 and other inverters are lit by the high-frequency voltages of the same frequency which is being synchronized, having phase differences. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
