<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management device capable of improving the convenience in use of reference information. <P>SOLUTION: This document management device 1 comprises a data storage part 11 accessible from a plurality of users and retaining at least one public document with a set access right. A control part 12 generates reference information referring to public documents and makes the data storage part 11 retain it.
