<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear part car body structure of a vehicle that can simultaneously compact the longitudinal length of the vehicle and arrange the rear seat (especially, the third row of seat), can secure vertical dimension by forming a recessed part even when the longitudinal length of the vehicle is set short, and can secure riding comfortableness of an occupant on the rear seat, by paying attention to that securing sufficient vertical dimension, especially a sufficient footrest space, allows occupants to feel comfortableness even if the longitudinal length between seats is short, forming a recessed part in a rear floor panel under a mounted surface of the front seat, disposing the rear seat in an upper space of the recessed part, and forming the footrest space for the occupant of the rear seat inside the recessed part. <P>SOLUTION: In the vehicle, a plurality of rows of seats 13, 14 and 15 are longitudinally arranged on the floor panel 4.
