<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a packaged absorptive article from breakage by pressure-sealing upon being packaged regarding an individually packaged absorptive article and a manufacturing method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: This individually packaged absorptive article consists of an absorptive article 1N and a packaging sheet to wrap the absorptive article 1N. The sheet 2 is formed into a cylindrical shape by overlapping both end parts 2a, 2b in the longitudinal direction orthogonally crossing the flow direction of the packaging line. The edge e1 on the surface side part 2a of the overlapped site is used as a seal opening start point. Overlapped parts 2c, 2c of both end parts in the lateral direction along the flow direction of the packaging line are pressure-sealed and are formed so that the pressure-sealed parts are substantially continued from one end to the other end in the longitudinal direction. The edges e2 on the center side in the lateral direction of the pressure-sealed parts 2c, 2c are formed into a shape, such as a wave shape, not a straight line along the longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
