<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit device that increases protection performance about data processing procedures and processed data by making it difficult to reproduce data through the observation of a consumed current waveform, without increasing consumed current unduly. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit device, which comprises a plurality of internal circuits operable in synchronism with an internal clock, has a clock generation circuit for generating a first clock of a given period, an intermittent clock generation circuit for generating a second clock comprising an intermittent train of pulses left when some pulses are removed from the first clock, and supplying it as the internal clock to each internal circuits, and a current generation circuit for consuming a supply current in timed relation to a third clock comprising a train of pulses removed from the first clock. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
