PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase degree of freedom of the correlation between height position of a table and the table width, in a side table device for a vehicle having a fixed link fixed to a seat side part of the vehicle and a table body supported via a movable link mechanism movably between a use position substantially horizontal to the fixed link and a storage position substantially vertical to it. SOLUTION: The side table device for the vehicle has a swing arm where one end is pivoted to the fixed link by a first shaft, the other end is pivoted to the table body by a second shaft parallel with the first shaft, and the second shaft is moved to upper and lower oscillating ends by oscillation about the first shaft. At the use position of the table body, the swing arm is held at the lower oscillating end of the second shaft. When the table body is moved from the use position to the storage position, the swing arm is turned to the upper oscillating end of the second shaft while the table body is turned about the second shaft.
