PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bird damage inhibitor that can simplify the work content needed for attaching the bird damage inhibitor to a structural material to which birds come flying and lowering the work cost relating to the attachment of the bird damage inhibitor. SOLUTION: To an L-type angle material 13 that is fitted in the horizontal direction, is fixed the body 12 of the bird damage inhibitor that is equipped with an electrode that works when the birds stay and has both projection parts 12d, 12e functioning as electrodes for giving the birds electric shocks. The body 12 of the bird damage inhibitor is made of a synthetic resin and has a cross section of a U-shape. From individual top ends of both side walls 12b, 12c that are connected at the lower ends of the bottom wall 12a, the both projection parts are protrudingly provided so that a prescribed space may remain therebetween. Accordingly, when the body 12 is attached, the L-type angle material 13 is enrolled from the part of the space S into the inside of the body 12. Then, the body 12 of the bird damage inhibitor is tentatively fixed to the angle material 13, then they are fixed by bundling them with a binding material 17 so that they may be made immovable.
