<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable retainer capable of retaining cables with different diameter sizes. <P>SOLUTION: This cable retainer is formed with cable retaining portions 1 having cable through grooves 11 for retaining cable 4, and contraction absorbing holes 12 near the cable through grooves 11 formed at the cable retaining portions 1.
