<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an abnormality of each part of a power supply device equipped with a storage means. <P>SOLUTION: An auxiliary power supply device 102 comprises an electric double-layer capacitor 44 that is the storage means, and the electric double-layer capacitor 44 is charged by a charging circuit 42. At the charging, a control part 120 compares a relation between an inter-terminal voltage of the electric double-layer capacitor 44 detected by an inter-terminal voltage detection circuit 45 and a charging time at the detection, and a relation between an inter-terminal voltage when prestored normal charging is performed and a charging time at the charging, thus determining the presence or absence of the abnormality. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
