<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain full color display and reduction of power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A display apparatus is provided with an organic electroluminescence display body 2 arranged at a display screen side (a front surface side) and an electrophoresis panel 3 arranged at a rear surface side. The organic electroluminescence display body 2 has an organic electroluminescence luminous layer 4 which emits color light corresponding to applied voltage and a pair of transparent electrodes 5, 6 arranged so as to hold the organic electroluminescence luminous layer 4 therebetween.
