<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange the I/F connection part of a CNTU and an ECU, an I/F to a memory-having CRG, and an I/F to an option cassette within the projection area of an LSU so that an RW signal to the memory-having CRG, a control signal to the option cassette, and radiation noises from the ECU to the CNTU and from a power source line to the LSU can be reduced, in a PCBu (CNTU) equipped with an electrical PCBu (ECU), an image processing part, and a host I/F, a laser scanner u(LSU), the memory-having CRG, and a printer which allows addition of an option cassette in the lower part of its main body. <P>SOLUTION: Electrical equipment, a light source means, an option cassette means, and a cartridge intrinsic information storage means are connected together via the image processing part. An interface between the light source means, the option cassette means and the cartridge intrinsic information storage means, and the image processing part, and an interface between the image processing part and the electrical equipment are arranged within an area vertically extended from the projection area of the light source means with respect to a conveyance direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
