<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material which can surely prevent the mistake of being charged into a printer etc. or the mistake of reading of X-rays when a doctor and the like make a diagnosis, particularly, in medical use, by making a distinct difference between glossiness of a front side and that of a back side. <P>SOLUTION: This thermal recording material, which is provided with at least a thermal recording layer and a protective layer, is characterized as follows: a difference between the glossiness (based on JIS Z8741 and at 75° incident and acceptance angles) of the front side and that of the back side before printing is in a range of 10-40%; and a difference between the glossiness of the front side and that of the back side after the printing is also in the range of 10-40%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
