<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a a printer driver capable of selecting print setting information while confirming a setting value registered in a printer and a technique for executing print by use of it. <P>SOLUTION: The printer driver controls a printer device by executing a first process for sending an inquiry for the set value of print setting information registered in the printer device to the printer device; a second process for presenting at least the set value received from the printer device to accept selection of print setting information from a user; and a third process for generating a print job based on the print setting information selected by the user and transmitting it to the printer device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
