<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device which directly receives and prints information transmitted from a host computer. <P>SOLUTION: When the printing device receives, via an interface 19, a price cut instruction information item and a price cut label information item transmitted from the host computer 200 via a network 300, an interface control section 18 supplies these information items to a CPU 1. If the printing device is set in an automatic issuing mode for a label printer operating mode, the CPU 1 supplies the price cut instruction information item out of the items to a display control section 12 and a printing control section 6, and controls a display unit 13 to display the information item and a thermal head 7 to carry out printing. Then the CPU 1 supplies the price cut label information item to the printing control section 6, and instruct the same to print a predetermined number of labels designated by the price cut instructing information item.
