PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly camera system capable of outputting image data in a digital camera without turning on the manual power switch of the digital camera even when the manual power switch is installed on the station in a state that it is turned off. SOLUTION: In the camera system, it is constituted by providing the digital camera having the power switch which manually switches on/off of the power source, the station on which the digital camera is placed and connectable to an image storage device, an output means for outputting the image data stored in the digital camera placed on the station to the image storage device, and a power control means for making the output of the image data into a possible state without a manual switching operation of the power switch.
