PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-made optical member which can widen selections of a usable wavelength band of light, enhance mass productivity and achieve a low price, an optical module, an optical member molding mold making the resin-made optical member, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The mold 40a is made by using, as a matrix, a silicon-made optical module 100 on which is placed a lens element 10 having a lens portion 2 on a packaging substrate 20 having a V-groove 28a for packaging a part, and the mold 40a has a lens molding portion 42 and a V-groove molding portion 48a. The lens portion 2 is a diffraction optical element formed by means of a photolithography technique and an etching technique. The resin-made optical member 50 is made by injecting a resin using the mold 40a. The resin-made optical member 50 has a lens portion 52 and a V-groove 58 both having the same shape and the same dimension as the lens portion 2 and the V-groove 28a of the optical module 100 respectively.
