PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide an imaging object in accordance with an imaging environment, to select an optimal imaging mode and to write it in a tag. SOLUTION: A digital camera (10) applies image processing matched to a human figure imaging mode to picked-up image data when reflected light is received by a light receiving means (3) or applies image processing matched to a night view imaging mode to picked-up image data when no light is received. Besides, the digital camera (10) applies image processing matched to the human figure imaging mode to the picked-up image data on the basis of a distance from a lens to an imaging target when the distance is shorter than a first predetermined distance, applies image processing matched to a standard imaging mode to the picked-up image data when the distance is equal with or longer than the first predetermined distance and shorter than a second predetermined distance, or applies image processing matched to a scenery imaging mode to the picked-up image data when the distance is equal with or longer than the second predetermined distance.
