PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a control converging characteristic by an adaptive processing section in an array antenna communication apparatus in which the circuit is shared in the transmission/reception by using a bidirectional vector modulator. SOLUTION: The adaptive processing section 30 detects a delay time difference between reception sections (RX) each provided to each unit antenna and a transmission reception section (TRX) used in common for a plurality of the unit antennas as a correlation value, and a sampling timing control section 103 corrects a sampling timing of a second sampling processing section (A/D) 101 on the basis of the correlation value to correct the delay time difference. Thus, the adaptive processing section can more quickly and more surely execute adaptive control (that is, weighting control for the bidirectional vector modulator 22). COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
