PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the battery drop-off preventing structure of a cell phone where, even if the cell phone is dropped for some reason to detach a battery pack from a cell phone body, both the battery pack and the cell phone do not be completely split from each other. SOLUTION: The battery drop-off preventing structure of the cell phone comprises an information display unit and a receiver opening 3 provided on the upper part of the surface of a strip-like cell phone body 1 which is equipped with a cell phone function, a switch function operation button 5 and a transmitter opening 4 provided at the lower part of the surface of the cell phone body, an antenna 2 provided outside the cell phone body, an external connection terminal provided at the bottom of the cell phone body, upper/lower lids for housing the cell phone function, an external battery pack fitted to the lower lid of the upper/lower lids, and an upper/lower ring formed at both the battery pack and the lower lid.
