PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loudspeaker unit and a portable terminal that can stereophonically reproduce a musical sound even when a flip is closed and maintain the degree of freedom of design of the portable terminal. SOLUTION: The loudspeaker is equipped with at least one loudspeaker and a sound transmission path forming plate. The sound transmission path forming plate has: a hole corresponding to the size of a sounding surface of the loudspeaker, wherein the sounding surface of the loudspeaker is fixed to and in contact with the hole; a sound hole for guiding the sound wave generated by the sounding surface of the loudspeaker to the outside; and a sound transmission path for propagating the sound wave from the hole to the sound hole. Thus, the loudspeaker unit which can stereoscopically reproduce a musical sound while maintaining the degree of freedom of design of the terminal is provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
