PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk holder which can be miniaturized and in which space can be reduced and accurate positioning of a disk can be performed, and a disk device using it. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a disk holder 10 provided with a plurality of holder plate 11 holding a disk D individually, a drive unit 62 reproducing the disk D, disk selectors 41A, 41B moving vertically the holder plate 11 and forming space above and below the desired disk D, and a drive base 60 moving the drive unit 62 to the space formed by vertical movement of the holder plate 11. Disk hold links 17, 18 provided with engaging lugs 17a, 18a engaging and releasing to/from a center hole of the disk D are provided at the holder plate 11 freely rotatably, and a disk hold arm 16 rotating the disk hold links 17, 18 is provided slide-movably.
