PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a database reference/updating program which reduces the access frequency to a database as much as possible and solving a response problem without depending on the database and an analysis part. SOLUTION: A reference means 3 specifies at least one record specification means 1 and a plurality of attribute acquisition/updating means 2 for acquiring a plurality of attribute values stored in the database 4, and functions, to a call instruction including an attribute value for specifying a record, the record specification means 1 according to the call instruction without repeatedly working the record specification means 1 to the same record. Accordingly, the attribute values of all attributes of the record are acquired every time the record specification means 1 is worked once. The re-access to the database 4 to acquire a specified attribute value to the same record is dispensed with, and the access frequency to the database 4 is reduced to remarkably improve the response.
