PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving a liquid crystal display in dot inversion which prevents a greenish phenomenon by eliminating a distortion phenomenon of a common voltage signal. SOLUTION: The method for driving a liquid crystal display in dot inversion which has a plurality of sets, each set having a plurality of R, G, B dot columns, each of the R, G, B dot columns having a plurality of dots which are arranged recursively in the respective horizontal line direction, comprises a step for applying dot-inversion to the predetermine number of R, G, B dot columns as one set, and a step for inverting a set of R, G, B columns adjacent to one set of the dot-inverted P, G, B columns so as to have a polarity contrary to the dot-inverted set of R, G, B columns.
