PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior facing building material from which a fouling resulting from a sealing material does not scatter and to provide its antifouling method. SOLUTION: In the exterior facing building material, in which a silicone sealing material is applied in a flowing passage of rainwater, a photocatalyst layer is formed on the surface of the exterior facing member, an antifouling layer covering the sealing material is formed. A surface layer having a thick film of the photocatalyst layer as compared with other regions, is formed close to the sealing material. The exterior facing material is excellent in self-cleaning property due to rainwater or the like, hence, it can be kept in beautiful appearance for years. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
