PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a special anti-unlocking operation but only to perform the operation of turning a locking device, and to make a lock device able to automatically regulate unlocking when a shutter curtain is forced to be lifted from the outside and fraudulently opened. SOLUTION: The lock device for a building shutter is composed of a base part which is to be fixed on a skeleton side, and a locking part which is supported on the base part in a horizontally oscillatable manner and wherein an attitude of a leading end side can be changed into such a locking attitude as to be locked to the backside of a slat or such an unlocking attitude as to be positioned in an indoor state; and the locking part is provided with an unlocking regulating means for regulating oscillation to an unlocking attitude side by undergoing an upward motion caused by an opening/closing motion of the shutter curtain.
