PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a series of sashes capable of providing a uniformized appearance even if the types of windows are different and satisfactorily maintaining workability. SOLUTION: In a fixed sash 1 and a movable sash 2 forming the series, all corresponding dimension in the depth direction are made equal to each other at the face side portions of a metal around four sides (h1=H1, h2=H2, and w1=W1). Accordingly, the appearances of the sashes 1 and 2 can be uniformized and, even if the fixed sash 1 is positioned adjacent to the movable sash 2, any uncomfortableness is not given and the appearances can be satisfactorily maintained. In addition, since such a mounting frame as used before is not used, any troublesome operation is not needed, and the workability can be satisfactorily maintained in construction.
