PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravity hinge capable of securely closing a door by strongly rotating the door first, decelerating it before a closing position, and gently rotating when the door is closed through the improvement of a resiliently pressing mechanism while rotating the door without moving in the vertical direction. SOLUTION: In this gravity hinge, the resiliently pressing mechanism 8 always resiliently pressing the slide camshaft 6 and a fixed camshaft 7 of a shaft part is formed by the combination of a strong resilient machine 8a with a weak resilient machine 8b. The mechanism is set so that a slight clearance is left between inclined cam faces 6a and 7a when the strong resilient machine 8a is extended fully until it presses the slide camshaft 6, and the weak resilient machine 8b presses the slide camshaft so as to fill the remaining clearance.
