PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the yield of a product, when charging a sintering material to a sintering pallet using a belt type charging apparatus, by averaging the wind volume to be passed in the width direction of the sintering pallet to a degree higher than before. SOLUTION: The sintering material charging apparatus has a charging belt 1 for charging a sintering material to a sintering pellet 4. A screw apparatus 2 for moving a part of the sintering material at the widthwise central part on the charging belt to both end sides in the width direction is set above the charging belt. It is preferable that the size of screw blades 3 in the screw apparatus is continuously or stepwise reduced from the widthwise central part of the charging belt toward both end parts in the width direction.
