The quick release coupling for the connecting of hoses has two coupling halves (1,2) with a connecting piece (10) which has a section (13) for pushing on of the hose, whereby the connecting piece and push-on section have a male thread (11) upon which is screwed a female threaded hose holder (19). The outer side of the push-on section is smooth and tapers conically in the direction of the end (14). The hose holder on its inner side has ribs (26), and the end (24) of hose holder protrudes beyond the end of the connecting piece by a defined length (l1).
