A dispensing cylinder, a large capacity dispensing device, and a method of using the large capacity dispensing device capable of providing high quantitative properties, suppressing the scale of the device, and efficiently utilizing working space despite the fact that rather large volume of fluid is handled for a variety of inspected articles, the dispensing cylinder comprising a small diameter part, a large diameter part communicating with the small diameter part and capable of storing the fluid, a sliding part installed slidably in the large diameter part and allowing the suction and delivery of the fluid to and from the large diameter part through the small diameter part, and a connection part detachably connecting the sliding part to a suction and delivery mechanism driving the sliding part.
