<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device to which oil film can be sufficiently introduced to a slide surface. <P>SOLUTION: This is a packing 1 in a circular form which slides on one circumferential side. A lip part 2 that is formed in circularly zigzag form to become thinner from a root toward a tip is provided on a circumferential surface which slides. Circumferential cross sectional form of the lip part 2 is varied in accordance with its zigzag form. The angle of the lip part 2 in the circumferential cross section from the root toward the tip becomes larger as a tip position of the lip part 2 gets closer to a raised part of the root, and becomes smaller as the tip position gets apart from the raised part of the root. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
