<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store contract documents while keeping high secrecy and easily browse the content of a contract. <P>SOLUTION: A contract document guaranteeing system 10 is operated by a third party's institution to guarantee the validity of a contract document exchanged between first and second parties of the contract. An encryption process part 30 stores a copy of the contract document in a copy database T1 according to a request to store the contract document, and encrypts the contract document using an encryption key to store it in an encrypted document database T2 as an encrypted document. A copy browsing process part 60 performs predetermined authentication according to a request to browse the copy of the contract document and permits browsing of the copy of the contract document stored in the copy database T1. A collating process part 40 encrypts the copy of the contract document using the encryption key according to a request to authenticate the copy of the contract document, reads the corresponding encrypted document from the encrypted document database T2, collates it, and determines if the copy of the contract document is valid according to the result of collation to guarantee the validity of the contract document. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
