<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the accuracy of white balance adjustment by contriving the position of a lighting window for white balance. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic camera having a white balance sensor 23 is equipped with a finder housing part 11 swollen from the upper surface of a camera main body 10 and housing a finder optical system inside. The sensor 23 is provided in the housing part 11 and also the lighting window 21 guiding light to the sensor 23 is provided at a corner part between the front surface 11a and the upper surface 11b of the housing part 11.
