LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MVA system liquid crystal panel whose visual field angle characteristics are improved by reducing a pale color phenomenon.

SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal display provided with two substrates 53 and 56 and a liquid crystal layer 11 wherein a liquid crystal 10 is encapsulated between the two substrates opposed to each other, structures 50 provided so as to partition the liquid crystal layer and forming at least one enclosed region in each display pixel are provided and liquid crystal molecules are made to be aligned so as to be symmetrical in relation to the face parallel to the substrates and passing along nearly intermediate part in the thickness direction of the liquid crystal layer when voltage is applied to the liquid crystal molecules.
