<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displaying and editing device for easily understanding the respective relational structure of a function block type and a function block event. <P>SOLUTION: The displaying and editing device is provided with a temporary program storage part 12 for storing the program of a processing object, a function block type relational structure analysis part 16 for accessing the program stored in the temporary program storage part and analyzing the relational structure of the function block type included in the program, a function block event relational structure analysis part 15 for accessing the program stored in a program storage means and analyzing the relational structure of the function block event included in the program, and a function block relational structure display part 17 for displaying the relational structure of the function block type and that of the function block event analyzed by the respective analysis part.
