PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide metal powder pigment used for copper-colored or golden metallic paint and ink and capable of giving metallic gloss to chip-like copper powder or chip-like copper alloy powder. SOLUTION: The chip-like copper powder or the chip-like copper alloy powder are mixed and stirred with a glazing agent in the air with a plastic ball of 5 mm to 20 mm in diameter as a polishing medium under a manufacturing method to give the metallic gloss by polishing the chip-like metal powder.
