PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a thermoplastic elastomer composition which can stably supply a material to a melting and kneading extruder with little variation of the supply amount of the rubber independently of a shape or a dimension of the massive rubber. SOLUTION: The manufacturing process of the thermoplastic elastomer composition by melting and kneading the rubber component and resin component includes the first process to the fifth process; the first process of supplying the massive rubber component to the melting and kneading extruder, the second process of supplying a resin component and an additive to the melting and kneading extruder, the third process of measuring the molten kneaded thermoplastic elastomer composition at the outlet of the melting and kneading extruder, the fourth process of calculating the supply amount of the massive rubber component based on the amounts of the resin component, the additive and the thermoplastic elastomer composition measured in the second and third processes, and the fifth process of controlling the supply amount of the massive rubber component in the first process based on the supply amount of the massive rubber component calculated in the fourth process.
