摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel and a plasma display device having improved manufacturing yield and improved quality and reproducibility of display. SOLUTION: The adjoining part f of respective discharge gaps comprising a main discharge electrode part fp having a wide width in a first direction D1 and a connecting part fc having a narrow width in the first direction D1 connecting the above discharge electrode part fp, is a transparent pattern linked with a second direction D2 by itself. The electrode part fp is located at a position distant from the surface of the phosphor coated on the side wall of the rib 7 with a distance nearly same with or larger than the thickness of a coating composed of the dielectric layer and the cathode membrane 11 in the second direction D2. The connecting part fc is formed at a position near the bus-bar portion b and the width of the cross-linking part c in the second direction D2 and the width of the connecting part fc in the first direction D1 are nearly double or less of the above coating thickness. The pattern edge of a discharge inactive membrane 22 is formed at a position near the bus-bar portion b side or at the position at a distance of 50μm or more from the electrode part fb, and the line width of the portion of the address electrode W facing the membrane 22 is narrower than the portion of the electrode YG facing the electrode part fp.
