PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an operation means such as a jog dial effectively multifunctional in an image pickup device which is provided with a first control circuit and a second control circuit and allows supply of a driving voltage to the second control circuit to be stopped when supplying the driving voltage to the first control circuit. SOLUTION: In the image pickup device wherein the driving voltage of a second control circuit 4 can be turned on or off with the driving voltage applied to a first control circuit, a transmission line from an operation means 1 to the first control circuit 2 is branched and is connected to the second control circuit 4, and the second control circuit 4 detects a signal sent from the operation means 1 to perform manual focus control, and the signal sent from the operation means 1 is supplied to the second control circuit 4 through a buffer means 3, and the buffer means 3 suppresses leading into the ground potential of the signal sent from the operation mens 1 in the case that the driving voltage of the second control circuit 4 is turned on.
