PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing carbon black dispersible in aqueous solvents without particularly applying hydrophilicizing treatment. SOLUTION: A hydrocarbon MG used as a raw material is introduced into a thermal plasma generated by using a plasma gas PG to produce carbon black CB by the decomposition reaction of the hydrocarbon MG.
