<p>Expression of pygopus mRNA and Pygopus protein in established cancer cell lines and in patient tumors is described. Pygopus is shown to be a feasible diagnostic and prognostic indicator. Pygopus is also useful in cancer treatment therapy, for example in disrupting strategies that specifically target the activity of pygopus in cancer cells.</p> |
