摘要 PURPOSE: Provided are an aqueous polymer dispersion which has a pH stability for a long time, a high initial strength, a high heat resistant adhesive strength without using a high melting resin and a high reactivity to a polyisocyanate dispersion, a method for preparing an adhesive by using the dispersion, an adhesive containing the dispersion and a support coated with the adhesive. CONSTITUTION: The aqueous polymer dispersion is obtained by polymerizing chloroprene and optionally an ethylenically unsaturated monomer copolymerizable with chloroprene at a temperature of 0-70 deg.C to prepare an aqueous polychloroprene dispersion whose gel content is 0.1-30 wt% based on polymer; and storing the dispersion at a temperature of 50-110 deg.C until the gel content reaches 1-60 wt% in an amount of 10 wt% or more based on polymer. Preferably the polychloroprene dispersion has a particle size of 60-120 nm. The adhesive is prepared by adding at least one kind of auxiliary or additive selected from the group consisting of a filler, a wetting agent, zinc oxide, an organic thickener, an inorganic thickener, a fungicide, an adhesion imparting resin and an organic solvent, to the polymer dispersion.
