<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an operation for identifying a document which is to be a print object, and expand advantages of both sides of a user and a sales person in selling a book. <P>SOLUTION: When a manuscript image is read by a scanner section in a compound machine (S3), a two-dimensional code is analyzed from the read image (YES at S4, and S5), and a print data transmission instruction for the content chosen by a user from the contents contained in this two-dimensional code, is transmitted to a server (YES at S7, and S8).
